The Catacomb Cafe
The Catacomb Cafe is a welcoming gathering space in the heart of Bridgeport, located in the lower level of St. Mary of Perpetual Help.
Currently, the cafe is open for hospitality after the Sunday Masses at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM for those attending Mass.
Beginning Thursday, July 30, the Catacomb Cafe will also be open to the public Thursday–Saturday from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM as a space for remote work, quiet study, coffee, tea, pastries, conversation, and community gathering.
With fast Wi-Fi, spacious cafe and lounge seating, and four outdoor patios, the Catacomb Cafe offers a peaceful and inviting place to work, read, meet a friend, or enjoy time on the parish campus.

GRAND OPENING WEEKEND
Join us for the public grand opening of the Catacomb Cafe on July 24–26 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Stop by to tour the space, enjoy the cafe, and celebrate this new chapter at St. Mary of Perpetual Help. Complimentary coffee, tea, and pastries will be available throughout the weekend.
Live music on Saturday 7/25 from 10:00 am-2:00pm featuring Peter Kruse. He is a Chicagoland artist whose warm acoustic style can be compared to Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, Jack Johnson, Ed Sheeran or Jason Mraz.

Host Your Gathering at the Catacomb Cafe
The Catacomb Cafe is also available for private event rentals, parish gatherings, retreats, milestone celebrations, and community events.
With spacious indoor seating, a warm cafe atmosphere, and access to outdoor patios, the space is well suited for funeral luncheons, baptisms, wedding rehearsals, family celebrations, ministry meetings, book discussions, live podcast recordings, and more.
All event requests are reviewed by the parish team and require formal approval.
